Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 large portobello mushroom cap small dice
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon better than beef bouillon
- 28 ounces can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- fresh mozzarella cheese cut into 8 pieces
- 4 buns of choice
How To Make italian sloppy joes

Step 1Add oil to a large skillet. Add the beef, onions, and garlic and cook breaking up meat unitl meat is no longer pink. Add the mushrooms and cook 5 more minutes. Add the red wine and cook until reduced by half.

Step 2Add the beef bouillion and the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer until thickened. Stir in the basil.

Step 3Place a spoon full on each bun topping with Parmesan and Mozzarrella and serve.
