italian meatballs
My son loves meatballs...has to have them with his spaghetti! These are excellent meatballs and go well with pasta or by themselves as he would tell you!!

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 - green onions, minced
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons grated romano cheese
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh basil
- - salt and pepper to own specific tastes
- 1 cup olive oil
How To Make italian meatballs

Step 1Preheat oven to 400.

Step 2Roll the mixture into 1 1/2" balls.

Step 3Pour olive oil on shallow baking pan and place meatballs on top; swirl pan around to coat meatballs in oil.

Step 4Bake meatballs for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, but not cooked completely through. (unless eating by themselves)

Step 5Remove meatballs from oil, drain on paper towels and stir into favorite pasta sauce.
