My son loves meatballs...has to have them with his spaghetti! These are excellent meatballs and go well with pasta or by themselves as he would tell you!!

Ingredients

1 lb
lean ground beef
1/2 lb
ground pork
1/3 c
dry bread crumbs
4 clove
garlic, minced
2
eggs, lightly beaten
2
green onions, minced
1 small
yellow onion, diced
3 Tbsp
grated parmesan cheese
3 Tbsp
grated romano cheese
3 Tbsp
minced fresh parsley
3 Tbsp
minced fresh basil
salt and pepper to own specific tastes
1 c
olive oil

How to Make Italian Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 400.
  • 2Roll the mixture into 1 1/2" balls.
  • 3Pour olive oil on shallow baking pan and place meatballs on top; swirl pan around to coat meatballs in oil.
  • 4Bake meatballs for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, but not cooked completely through. (unless eating by themselves)
  • 5Remove meatballs from oil, drain on paper towels and stir into favorite pasta sauce.
