My husband loves meatball subs, so I came up with this recipe to satisfy his craving

Ingredients

  • 1 package homestyle meatballs (thawed)
  • 1 jar of your favorite spagetti sauce
  • 2 packages mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package filo dough

How To Make italian meatball wellington

  • Step 1
    thaw out the filo dough, and remove from the package, open the plastic bag, and unroll the dough. Follow the directions on the package to work with it
  • Step 2
    Layer your cheese, sauce, then meatballs, create another layer of cheese and sauce, then wrap with the filo dough. (on a baking sheet)
  • Step 3
    Bake as directed, until golden brown.
