My husband loves meatball subs, so I came up with this recipe to satisfy his craving

  • 1 pkg
    homestyle meatballs (thawed)
  • 1 jar(s)
    of your favorite spagetti sauce
  • 2 pkg
    mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg
    filo dough

How to Make Italian meatball wellington

Step-by-Step

  1. thaw out the filo dough, and remove from the package, open the plastic bag, and unroll the dough. Follow the directions on the package to work with it
  2. Layer your cheese, sauce, then meatballs, create another layer of cheese and sauce, then wrap with the filo dough. (on a baking sheet)
  3. Bake as directed, until golden brown.
