Ingredients
- 1 package main dish mix for lasagna, hamburger helper
- 6 cups boiling water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can whole tomatoes, drained, 16 ounces
- 1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained, 4 ounces
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mixed italian herbs, crumbled
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 - egg
- 2 slices mozzarella cheese
How To Make italian meat pie

Step 1cook macaroni for Main dish mix for lasagna in boiling water and salt in large pan for eight minutes or until tender. Drain. Return drain macaroni to pan.

Step 2Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, green onions, flour, salt and Italian herbs until well mixed. Pour into a 9 inch pie plate.

Step 3Mix ground beef, sauce mix, milk, bread crumbs and egg. Mix until well blended. Pat evenly over macaroni mixture into pie plate. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until beef is cooked. Cut into wedges. Serves six Note: This is where the recipe ends. I don't know when you would put the cheese on top, before cooking or right before serving.
