Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4-1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
- 1-1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 pound wide noodles, cooked
- 2-1/2 cup grated monterey jack cheese, divided
- 1 cup canned sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg. slightly beaten
- 2-1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1-1/2 cup grated monterey jack cheese
- 1 package {10 ounce} frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
- 1/3 cup chopped green onion
How To Make creamy ground beef casserole

Step 1Brown ground beef; then add garlic, onions, and mushrooms, drain, then season with salt to taste. Add in 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese and spaghetti sauce; mix to combine, then simmer for 20 to 30 minutes over medium low heat, covered.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine spinach with 2-1/2 cups monterey jack cheese, sour cream, egg, green onion, garlic powder and 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese; Mix to combine, then fold in cooked noodles.

Step 3In a greased 9 X 13 inch pan, spoon in the spinach mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup parmesan cheese. Top evenly with the ground beef mixture, then sprinkle 1 cup parmesan cheese over the ground beef mixture.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes; remove from oven, then sprinkle with 1-1/2 cups monterey jack cheese on top. Return to oven and bake for 5 minutes more.

Step 5You can use grated mozzaella cheese for the top. Cover and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
