Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package italian dressing mix
- 3 cups water
- 5 pounds rump roast, pre-sliced
- 1 package mccormick au juse mix
How To Make italian beef sandwiches

Step 1In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine the water, salt, ground black pepper, oregano, basil, onion salt, parsley, garlic powder, Au Juse and salad dressing mix. Stir well and bring just to a boil.

Step 2Place roast in a slow cooker and pour mixture over the roast. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours OR high setting for 4 to 6 hours.

Step 3Serve on Italian Rolls, with hot peppers and provolone cheese.
