- 3 pounds beef chuck roast, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons basil, dried
- 3 tablespoons oregano, dried
- 1 cup water
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 10 - sandwich buns, split horizontally

Step 1Place roast in a slow cooker.

Step 2Combine basil, oregano and water; pour over roast.

Step 3Sprinkle with soup mix; cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender.

Step 4Remove meat; shred with a fork and keep warm. Strain broth; skim off fat.

Step 5Serve meat on rolls; use broth for dipping if desired.
