Ingredients
- 10 pounds round or rump roast
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 small onion, diced
- salt
- pepper
- SAUCE INGREDIENTS
- 7.75 cups water
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 8 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 teaspoons oregano
- 1 package Italian dressing mix
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 1 package au jus gravy mix
How To Make italian beef

Step 1Mix vinegar, 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon oregano and the garlic.

Step 2Pour over seasoned meat, slicing onion on top.

Step 3Cover lightly; roast at 350 degrees 3 hours or until done.

Step 4Slice when cool.

Step 5Before serving, combine sauce ingredients; bring to boil.

Step 6Cool 10 minutes, then add sliced beef.

Step 7Serve on poorboy buns.

Step 8May be refrigerated 2 to 3 weeks.
