When we have italian beef at home I am "required" to make this recipe.

    chuck roast
  • 5 c

    beef bouillon, cubes
  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 4
    bay leaves
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Italian Beef


  1. Combine all ingredients in crock pot and simmer all day.
  2. Pull roast apart using 2 forks (make sure to remove bones and fat and bay leaves).
  3. Serve on french rolls, bratwurst buns, or any other type of roll or bun. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and/or pepper rings.
