ingrid's hoison poison beef short ribs!!!!

i don't make this very often but when i do, it's always a hit with my family and there are never any leftovers!!!!!

Ingredients

  • 8 - beef short ribs
  • 1 cup scallions chopped
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 pinches black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon season salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed basil
  • 1 jar hoison sauce
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce

How To Make ingrid's hoison poison beef short ribs!!!!

  • Step 1
    pour beef broth and scallions in a crock pot and let simmer. brown beef short ribs in frying oil with meat side down until browned very well.
  • Step 2
    place beef short ribs in crock pot and put all spices into crock pot after you place ribs into crock pot. let cook for about 4 hrs. skim out alot of the juice that is in crock pot but use a strainer and pour scallions back into crock pot.
  • Step 3
    pour hoison sauce and worchestershire sauce into crock pot over short ribs. let cook about 2 more hrs or until tender and falling off the bone. Serve over steamed rice of any kind, and vegetables of your choise. Enjoy!!!
