This is like what I loved that the school lunch room served in grammar school.. I called the school several times trying to get this recipe and found this many years later...My daughter and all who I've made this for loves it...and it's so simple! It is really great served with jiffy cornbread. I hope you all enjoy.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds hamburger, or any ground beef you prefer
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 large bell pepper
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 2 cans corn (doesnt have to be drained)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make indian stew

Step 1Chop onion and bell pepper, and in large pot fry together Hamburger, onion, and bell pepper till hamburger is done and no longer pink. Drain

Step 2Add soup, corn, and spices ( you can add pepper if you like )

Step 3simmer for about 10 minutes and serve with jiffy cornbread. (thats just the way I grew up having it in school) The jiffy cornbread mix is easy and compliments it well.
