Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 2 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 c
    biscuit mix
  • 1.25 c
    milk
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4
    head lettuce, shredded
  • 1
    tomato, diced
  • 1/4 c
    ripe olives, sliced

How to Make Impossible Taco Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10x1 1/2, or square baking dish, 8x8 inches.
  3. Cook and stir the ground beef and onion in 10 inch skillet until beef is brown; drain.
  4. Stir in seasoning mix.
  5. Spoon into pie plate.
  6. Beat baking mix, milk and eggs about 1 minute with wire whisk or hand beater or until almost smooth.
  7. Pour into pie plate.
  8. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Sprinkle with cheese.
  10. Bake about 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
  11. Cool 5 minutes.
  12. Garnish with lettuce, tomato and olives.
