Ingredients

  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped

How To Make impossible hamburg pie

  • Step 1
    Combine baking mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously.
  • Step 2
    Smooth dough into ball on floured board.
  • Step 3
    Knead 5 times.
  • Step 4
    Roll dough 2 inches larger than 9 inch pie plate.
  • Step 5
    Place into plate flute edges.
  • Step 6
    Brown ground beef and drain.
  • Step 7
    Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, onion, bread crumbs, tomato sauce and spread in pie crust.
  • Step 8
    Beat egg and milk, stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Step 9
    Spread over beef mixture.
  • Step 10
    Bake until crust is golden, about 30 minutes at 375.
