beef, cooked, cut into bite sized pieces

chopped onion
1 c
celery, thinly sliced
tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 c
swiss cheese, shredded
2 1/4 c
1/4 c
butter, melted
1 1/4 c
biscuit mix
1/2 tsp
garlic salt

How to Make Impossible Beef and Tomato Pie


  • 1Heat oven to 350.
  • 2Grease a 13x9x2" baking dish.
  • 3Layer beef, onion, celery, tomatoes and cheese in dish.
  • 4Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with electric mixer on high.
  • 5Pour into dish.
  • 6Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 40-50 minutes.
  • 7Cool 5 minutes.
  • 8Garnish with parsley sprigs if desired.
  • 9High Altitude--Bake 70-75 minutes.
