Ingredients

  • 3 c
    beef, cooked, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    celery, thinly sliced
  • 3
    tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    swiss cheese, shredded
  • 2 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 5
    eggs
  • 1 1/4 c
    biscuit mix
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt

How to Make Impossible Beef and Tomato Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease a 13x9x2" baking dish.
  3. Layer beef, onion, celery, tomatoes and cheese in dish.
  4. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with electric mixer on high.
  5. Pour into dish.
  6. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 40-50 minutes.
  7. Cool 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley sprigs if desired.
  9. High Altitude--Bake 70-75 minutes.
