hubby's favorite texas bbq brisket
this is my husbands favorite recipe for BBQ brisket. We both grew up in Texas and I have found that this is the perfect combination of flavors for the perfect brisket!

Ingredients
- 1 - 4 lb beef brisket, trimmed of most fat
- 1 bottle sweet baby rays barbeque sauce
- 1 can beer
- 1 - onion diced
- 4 - garlic cloves, diced
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
- 2 tablespoons lawrys seasoned salt
How To Make hubby's favorite texas bbq brisket

Step 1Rub meat with Lawrys seasoned salt on both sides. Place in 9 x 13 inch baking pan and cover tightly with foil (do not add water)

Step 2Bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours. Mix bottle of barbeque sauce, beer, onion, garlic and liquid smoke well. Por over meat. Cover tightly and bake 1 more hour

Step 3uncover and slice with the grain. Serve and watch it disappear!
