Plain & simple chili ! Have tryed lots of hotdog chili over the years but seem to always come back to this one.Our kids & grandkids beg for the stuff!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground round or 90% chuck
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons dales steak seasoning sauce or soy sauce
- 3 ounces tomatoe paste ( 1/2 of small 6oz can )
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
How To Make hot dog chili

Step 1Brown ground beef in large frying pan til no longer pink over medium heat.Add onion and cook about 5 minutes, stir often,then add all spices & steak sauce plus tomatoe paste and stir well.Add water & sugar and bring to boil then reduce to simmer and cook uncovered 30 minutes adding extra water if needed. (I like mine a little saucy or thin) Store in frig. and freezes well.
