Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons horseradish sauce
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 6 ounces roast beef, cooked and sliced deli thin
  • 1/2 cup beets, pickled and drained
  • 2 - lettuce leaves
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • HORSERADISH SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish

How To Make horseradish beef sandwiches

  • Step 1
    HORSERADISH SAUCE: Mix sour cream and horseradish together. Adjust the amount of horseradish to your personal taste.
  • Step 2
    Spread horseradish sauce on 2 slices of the bread; top with beef, beets and lettuce.
  • Step 3
    Spread mayonnaise on remaining 2 slices of bread; place over lettuce.
  • Step 4
    TIP: Pumpernickel bread is also great to use in this recipe!
