    horseradish sauce
  • 4 slice
    rye bread
  • 6 oz
    roast beef, cooked and sliced deli thin
  • 1/2 c
    beets, pickled and drained
  • 2
    lettuce leaves
  • 1 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • HORSERADISH SAUCE INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    horseradish

How to Make Horseradish Beef Sandwiches

Step-by-Step

  1. HORSERADISH SAUCE: Mix sour cream and horseradish together. Adjust the amount of horseradish to your personal taste.
  2. Spread horseradish sauce on 2 slices of the bread; top with beef, beets and lettuce.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on remaining 2 slices of bread; place over lettuce.
  4. TIP: Pumpernickel bread is also great to use in this recipe!
