Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 - garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 pounds beef strips
  • 10 ounces snow pea pods, trimmed
  • 2 - zucchini, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • PINEAPPLE SALSA
  • 1/2 - fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, snipped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 - fresh red chile, chopped

How To Make honey beef with pineapple salsa

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in wok over medium heat.
  • Step 2
    Add sesame seeds and garlic and stir fry for 2 minutes or until seeds are golden.
  • Step 3
    Remove from wok and set aside.
  • Step 4
    Add beef to wok.
  • Step 5
    Stir fry 2 minutes or until brown.
  • Step 6
    Add snow peas, honey and soy and oyster sauces.
  • Step 7
    Return sesame seed mixture to wok and stir fry for 3 minutes or until sauce thickens.
  • Step 8
    To make salsa, place pineapple, sugar, chives, lime juice and chilli in a bowl.
  • Step 9
    Toss to combine.
  • Step 10
    Serve with beef.
