- 1 package onion soup mix
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 pounds beef brisket
How To Make homestyle beef brisket

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2In 13x9 inch baking or roasting pan, add onion soup mix blended with water, ketchup, garlic powder and pepper.

Step 3Add brisket, turning to coat with soup mixture.

Step 4Loosely cover with aluminum foil and roast for 3 hours or until brisket is tender.

Step 5Thicken gravy if desired.
