Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 c
    green pepper, chopped
  • 2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic, chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    (15 oz cans) tomato sauce
  • 12 oz
    chili sauce
  • 1/2 c
    steak sauce
  • 10-12
    sandwich rolls, split

How to Make Homemade Sloppy Joes for a Crowd

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown beef, green pepper, garlic and onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain.
  2. Mix beef mixture with tomato sauce, chili sauce, and steak sauce.
  3. Simmer on top of the stove for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Serve hot on sandwich rolls.
  5. This can also be put in a slow cooker after all ingredients have been mixed.
