  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 2 cans (15 oz cans) tomato sauce
  • 12 ounces chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup steak sauce
  • 10-12 - sandwich rolls, split

How To Make homemade sloppy joes for a crowd

  • Step 1
    Brown beef, green pepper, garlic and onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain.
  • Step 2
    Mix beef mixture with tomato sauce, chili sauce, and steak sauce.
  • Step 3
    Simmer on top of the stove for 15-20 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Serve hot on sandwich rolls.
  • Step 5
    This can also be put in a slow cooker after all ingredients have been mixed.
