Homemade Meatballs

Ingredients

2 lbground beef
-
2eggs
-
1/2-3/4 cmilk

1-2 cbread crumbs, fresh

1/2 tspthyme, dried

·salt and pepper
-
dash(es)onion powder (because my kids pick out the onions)
How to Make Homemade Meatballs
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray large baking dish with Pam or other spray coating. Mix all ingredients well. I did this by hand, but I'm sure dough hooks would work fine. Shape into walnut sized (1 inch) balls or larger if serving as a main dish (Spaghetti).
- Sauce(s): My husband and daughter both prefer a brown gravy with their meatballs, served over buttered noodles. I usually use a packaged brown gravy mix.
Personally, I prefer the BBQ sauce, and they are just as yummy with the buttered noodles.
BBQ Sauce -
1 can crushed tomatoes
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 - 1 c. brown sugar (depending how sweet you like it
Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to boil. If everyone likes this sauce it is especially good to pour over cooked meatballs and let simmer in a slow cooker. Serve with
