I made this recipe up and it is the moist meatballs ever and the reason is because they are not browned first and it gives the sauce better flavor as well. I have shared this recipe with friends and they all love it too. They also cook well in a dutch oven too on top of the stove you can cook them 3 to 4 hours. Whichever you prefer

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 3/4 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 2 cans ( large cans ) hunts original spaghetti sauce
  • I can ( small can ) mushroom stems and pieces
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

How To Make homemade meatballs

  • Step 1
    Mix into the ground beef the egg, bread crumbs,warm water and the milk, garlic powder and salt and pepper and the parmesan cheese, lightly spray crock pot, Roll meat balls into golf ball size and place each one in the bottom of your crock pot . DO NOT BROWN MEATBALLS . Place all of them in the pot uncooked and pour both cans of the Spaghetti Sauce all over the top of them along with the drained mushrooms . Cook on the low setting about and cook for 7 hours. We serve it with Angel Hair Pasta and Cheesy Garlic bread .
