Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 pound ground veal
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 - green onions diced
- - salt and pepper
- SAUCE
- 1 cup red currant jelly
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon sambal olek more or less to taste
- GARNISHES
- - fresh cilantro chopped
- - romaine or bibb lettuce leaves
How To Make hoisin mixed meat lettuce wraps

Step 1Place the meats in a large skillet. Add the garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce and green onion. Cook until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2In a separate pan add the sauce ingredients and cook until the jelly is melted.

Step 3Mix the meat into the sauce. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with cilantro.
