  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/2 lb
    ground veal
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger grated
  • 2 Tbsp
    hoisin sauce
  • 2
    green onions diced
  • ·
    salt and pepper

  • 1 c
    red currant jelly
  • 1/2 c
    hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    sambal olek more or less to taste

  • ·
    fresh cilantro chopped
  • ·
    romaine or bibb lettuce leaves

How to Make Hoisin Mixed Meat Lettuce Wraps


  1. Place the meats in a large skillet. Add the garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce and green onion. Cook until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a separate pan add the sauce ingredients and cook until the jelly is melted.
  3. Mix the meat into the sauce. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with cilantro.
