This is so good. The flavor is compliments the beef. It's sticky, sweet, & Spicy over the crusted steak. Love the earthiness of the mushrooms. This is a keeper

Ingredients
- 2 round beef filets
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 8 ounces shiitake mushrooms stemmed and halved
- 1/4 cup chives chopped
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
How To Make hoisin glazed beef filet with shiitake mushrooms

Step 1Preheat oven 400 degrees. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Add oil to skillet. Once the oil is hot sear the filets on all sides until a brown crust develops. Transfer the filets to a baking dish. Brush the hoisin sauce on both sides. Place in oven. Cook until internal temp reaches desired doneness. 125 F for medium rare.

Step 2In the meanwhile add the mushrooms, ginger, and garlic to the skillet you seared the beef in. Season with salt and cook until mushrooms are browned. Add the chives and sherry and cook until the sherry has evaporated
