Ingredients
- 5 pounds baby back ribs
- 2 - inch pieces fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup oyster sauce
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon sake ( japanese rice wine)
- - white toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
How To Make hoisin baby back ribs

Step 1Cut rack of ribs into 2-segments pieces.

Step 2Place into a large stockpot with the sliced ginger, cover with water and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Step 3Remove the ribs from the pot into a roasting pan.

Step 4Combine the remaining ingredients.

Step 5Marinate ribs in the sauce for 4 to 5 hours, place in the refrigerator.

Step 6Broil or grill ribs, sprinkle white sesame seeds.
