  • 1 tsp
  • 1/3 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1
    shallot, large
  • 1 clove
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground veal
  • 1/4 lb
    pork sausage
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • ·
    hot pepper sauce to taste
  • 3/4 c
    bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp
    chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 lb
    grated mozzarella cheese

How to Make Herbed Spinach Loaf


  1. Cook spinach in butter and drain
  2. Saute onions, shallot and garlic in oil
  3. Add spinach. Cook until water evaporates.
  4. Combine rest of ingredients and bake 1 hour (glaze often)
  5. Last 15 minutes top with cheese.
