Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds hamburger,cooked and drained
  • 1 large onion,chopped,and cooked with hamburger
  • 3 cups cooked and drained egg noodles
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • TOPPING
  • 1 stick butter
  • 5 - slices of bread,chopped up

How To Make helens casserole

  • Step 1
    MIX EVERYTHING TOGETHER EXCEPT THE TOPPING,AND PLACE IN A 9 BY 13 INCH BAKING DISH.
  • Step 2
    MELT THE BUTTER IN A SKILLET,AND ADD THE BREAD,COOK TILL SATURATED WITH THE BUTTER,TAKE OFF THE HEAT.PLACE THIS ON TOP OF YOUR CASSEROLE,SPREAD ALL OVER.
  • Step 3
    BAKE IN 350 DEGREE OVEN,TILL TOP IS LIGHTLY BROWNED AND CASSEROLE IS BUBBLY,USUALLY AROUND 20 MINUTES.
