    cubed steak
  • 1 can(s)
    campbells beefy mushroom with roasted garlic soup
  • 1 can(s)
    campbells cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 medium
    onion
  • 1 pkg
    fresh mushrooms
  • 3/4 c
    self rising flour
  • 3 1/2 c
    water
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil

How to Make HEARTY CUBE STEAK AND GRAVY

Step-by-Step

  1. SALT AND PEPPER CUBED STEAK COAT CUBED STEAK IN 3/4 CUP FLOUR
  2. SEAR BOTH SIDES OF MEAT IN VEGTABLE OIL
  3. REMOVE FROM PAN, PLACE CUBED STEAK IN CROCKPOT
  4. DICE ONION AND ADD TO PAN THAT CUBED STEAK WAS SEARED IN.
  5. ADD MUSHROOMS COOKING TILL ONIONS ARE TRANSPARANT.
  6. ADD FLOUR STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL FLOUR IS LIGHT BROWN IN COLOR
  7. ADD WATER STIRRING TILL GRAVY IS THICKENED. ADD TO CROCKPOT
  8. COOK ALL INGREDIENTS ON LOW UNTIL CUBED STEAK IS FORK TENDER
