    ground beef
  • 1/3 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    each.garlic salt & salt
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    cut green beans,drained
  • 1
    tube crescent rolls
  • 1
    egg,slightly beaten
  • 2 c
    shredded moterey jack cheese

How to Make Hearty Beef Crescent Pie


  1. Heat oven to 375,in a large skillet,brown beef,green pepper and onion;drain.Add garlic salt,salt tomato sauce and green beans,simmer.
  2. Separate dough into 8 triangles,place on an ungreased 9in. pie plate.Press firmly over bottom and up sides,sealing perforations.
  3. In a small bowl,combine the egg and 1 cup of cheese.Spread over the bottom of crust.Spoon hot meat mixture over cheese.Sprinkle with remaining cheese and a dash of paprika.
  4. Bake for 20 min.or until crust is golden brown.Let stand for 5 min.
