I do not recall how i came across this recipe but i love it

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon each.garlic salt & salt
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 can cut green beans,drained
  • 1 - tube crescent rolls
  • 1 - egg,slightly beaten
  • 2 cups shredded moterey jack cheese
  • - paprika

How To Make hearty beef crescent pie

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375,in a large skillet,brown beef,green pepper and onion;drain.Add garlic salt,salt tomato sauce and green beans,simmer.
  • Step 2
    Separate dough into 8 triangles,place on an ungreased 9in. pie plate.Press firmly over bottom and up sides,sealing perforations.
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl,combine the egg and 1 cup of cheese.Spread over the bottom of crust.Spoon hot meat mixture over cheese.Sprinkle with remaining cheese and a dash of paprika.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 20 min.or until crust is golden brown.Let stand for 5 min.
