hawaiian steak barbecue (tnt)
(2 RATINGS)
My sister used to make this, omitting the pineapple, but I like it with the fruit. It's simple and good, served with rice.

How To Make hawaiian steak barbecue (tnt)
-
Step 1Remove fat and bones from steak. Cut into 1 1/2" cubes if desired. Put into shallow dish or large plastic bag. Mix together the remaining ingredients ( I also added about 4 T. hoisin sauce to the marinade. It was really good)
-
Step 2Pour over steak cubes or whole steak in plastic bag. Marinate at room temperature about 4 hours. Stir occasionally. (I let this marinate all night in the fridge and cooked it the next day). Remove from marinade; put on skewers and grill over hot coals, or if making whole steak, broil about 10 to 12 minutes on each side on broiler rack. Serves 4
