I threw this together with things I had in my cupboard and walah...it's been a husband pleaser ever since. I love carrying this dish to pot lucks and church socials, such a crowd pleaser. Everyone loves meat and potatoes, don't they?
1Crumble ground beef into medium sauce pan.
Add in chopped onion and bell pepper
Cook until meat is done and drain.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease 9x13 baking dish
2pour hash browns into large mixing bowl, add groundbeef mixture, soup, cheese and carrots..mix well.
Crush Cornflakes in ziplock baggy
Melt butter and add to flakes mixing well in bag/set aside for now
3Put casserole in heated oven for 30 minutes...remove from oven
Take the cornflakes in baggy and layer across top of casserole and return to oven for an additional 30 minutes or until top is browned. Let stand for 15mins before eating. It's delicious and enjoy!
