This is a recipe that comes from a long time family friend. This is a quick and great dish to throw together. I serve this over rice, but you can serve it over the traditional egg noodles if you prefer.

1/2 c
chopped onion
1 clove
garlic, minced
1/4 c
1 lb
ground beef
2 Tbsp
1 tsp
garlic salt
1/4 tsp
seasoned pepper
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 c
sour cream
parsley flakes

How to Make Hamburger Stroganoff


  • 1Brown beef in skillet. Add onions, garlic and butter. Cook until onions are translucent. Add flour and seasonings. Cook for 5 minutes. Add soup and simmer, covered for 5 to 10 minutes. Add sour cream and heat through. Sprinkle top of dish with fresh or dried parsley flakes.
  • 2Serve over white rice.
