Please dont roll your eyes but this recipe also has tomatoes in too. Rotel to be exact. Like the chili, you can change tomatoes if you prefer not to go up in flames teehee PS you can use real taters if you wish by boiling & hand mashing other wise instant works

Ingredients

1 package mixed vegetables, frozen
1 1/2 pounds hamburger
1 can rotel tomatoes with chilis
1 package instant mashed potatoes
1 can ortega green chilis
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 jar beef gravy

How To Make hamburger stew over mashed potatoes

Step 1

in large skillet brown hamburger til no longer pink, drain if need be

Step 2

add mixed veggies, green chilis, Rotel & gravy. Mix thoroughly, simmer about 7 minutes til bubbly
Step 3

Make potatoes according to package. If making home made mashed taers please allow more prep time.
Step 4

in bowls of any size scoop mashed potatoes, ladle hamburger stew over potatoes, top with cheese & enjoy
