Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp
    sage
  • 1 large
    egg -- beatened
  • 1/2 c
    beef broth
  • 1/4 c
    bread crumbs or crackers
  • 2 Tbsp
    hot oil
  • 1 small
    onion -- diced
  • 1 can(s)
    mushrooms
  • 1 pkg
    brown gravy mix

How to Make Hamburger Steaks

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine ground beef, seasoned salt, sage, egg, diced onion, bread crumbs, and 1/2 Cup of Beef Broth.
  2. Mix well, shape into patties.
  3. Brown on both sides really well and then add them to a casserole pan.
  4. Top the hamburger steaks with mushrooms and brown gravy.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes at 375.
