How To Make hamburger steaks with sherry mushroom gravy
-
Step 1Preheat oven 350 degrees. Blend the meat, egg, parsley, onion, chili powder and salt and pepper in food processor until a ball forms. Form into patties. Drizzle the olive oil in a skillet. Add the patties once the oil is hot and sear on each side to get a nice crust.
-
Step 2Transfer the patties to a baking dish and place in oven. Add the mushrooms to the same pan that you took the patties out. Let cook until they are browned. Add the sherry wine and bring to a boil and reduce by half.
-
Step 3Stir in the gravy and thyme. Serve the gravy over the hamburger steaks.
