Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
- 1 - egg, beatean
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup self rising flour
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 package ranch dressing mix
How To Make hamburger steak

Step 1Combine ground beef, soup mix, egg, seasoning salt, garlic salt, black pepper, worcestershire sauce.

Step 2Shape into patties with a depressed area in the center of the patty. This helps prevent the hamburger mountain effect.

Step 3Dredge the patties in the flour.

Step 4Brown them in hot oil over medium high heat.

Step 5Remove from pan and place in casserole dish.

Step 6Add onions in dripping in skillet and reduce heat to medium and saute until the onions are brown. Place onions on top of hamburger patties in casserole dish.

Step 7Combine chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, ranch dressing, and remaining flour. Mix well with a whisk. Pour into skillet, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 8Pour the gravy over patties. Cover casserole and bake for 30 minutes at 250 degrees.
