Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped fine
- 1 ounce 28 oz can tomatoes
- 2 cups water
- 3 cans beef consomme
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 stalks celery
- 4 - carrots, sliced
- 3 - potatoes, cubed
- 2 - slices, turnip
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 8 tablespoons rice or barley
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make hamburger soup

Step 1Brown and drain ground beef well.

Step 2Put all ingredients in the pot and bring to a boil, reduce and simmer for at least an hour or till done. Remove bay leaf.
