My Mom started making this many years ago and it's still a good quick and easy evening meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 6-12 ounces egg noodles, no-yolk variety (6 if you like it meaty, 8-12 if you like lots of noodles)
  • 15 ounces can nibblet corn
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk (use soup can)
  • 1 small onion (optional)
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 package ritz crackers crusher or panko crumbs

How To Make hamburger noodle casserole

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef and drain off all excess grease. If you add onion, cook it with the ground beef.
  • Step 2
    Boil noodles until tender.
  • Step 3
    Mix cooked noodles, beef, soup, milk, and corn. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
    Place above mixture in casserole dish, top with crushed crackers or bread crumbs adding dots of butter to top of crackers/crumbs.
  • Step 5
    Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until crackers/crumbs turn light brown and casserole is bubbly.
  • Step 6
