Hamburger Mushroom Gravy
This is my Mother's recipe and it taste better than school(and she never had it)
- 1 lb ground beef
- salt and pepper
- 2 t. butter
- 1/4 onion,sliced
- 1/4 c fresh mushrooms,sliced thin
- 2 garlic cloves,minced
- 2 t. flour
- beef broth
How to Make Hamburger Mushroom Gravy
- 1Brown ground beef in a skillet,season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain,remove from skillet and set aside. Melt butter saute mushrooms and onion until onion is soft, add garlic. Add flour and stir well,gradually add enough broth until gravy is slightly thick,stirring constantly. Add browned beef ,stir well.
Serve over mashed potatoes. Also good served over toast.
