How To Make hamburger hay stacks
-
Step 1Pan fry your bacon in a large skillet then set aside. Leave the bacon grease in your pan.

Step 2slice your onion into thin slices, like for a regular burger. Slice in half and toss the rings in the same pan as the bacon reserving the bacon grease. Saute until soft and translucent. remove onions and set aside
-
Step 3Form two or three large patties and pan fry in the same skillet. Remove your patties and place on a paper plate one at a time.
-
Step 4Core and slice your avocado, circle each burger on the outside with the avocado to form a ring.
-
Step 5place some onions in the hole, then your crumbled bacon.
-
Step 6Put a generous dollop of sour cream on top of the onions. you should be level or a tad higher then your avocados.
-
Step 7generously cover/cap on top all over your burger
-
Step 8Place in microwave (or oven) on high heat until the cheese is melted
-
Step 9Let rest for a few minutes then gently place on your serving plate. serve with baked beans and your favorite macaroni salad or potato salad.
