hamburger gravy

My dad made this when I was home growing up. Its so yummy especially on a chilly day. We usually had it over mashed potatoes, but it can be put over egg noodles as well.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 - onion
- 1 can beef broth
- dash kitchen bouquet
- dash garlic powder
- dash soy sauce
- - salt & pepper
- - cornstarch
How To Make hamburger gravy

Step 1Chop onion and cook with hamburger till brown. Drain.

Step 2Add beef broth, kitchen bouquet, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt & pepper, & hamburger. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Step 3Mix cornstarch with just enough water until it can be stirred. Slowly add into the mixture and whisk while cooking on low until you get the thickness you desire.

Step 4Add gravy to mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
