    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    frozen diced onions
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup, light
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    beef bouillon granules
  • 3 c
    hot cooked mashed potatoes

How to Make Hamburger "Gravy": A Money Saving Recipe


  1. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion till beef is no longer pink, drain.
  2. Stir in soup, milk and bouillon. Reduce heat and simmer 10-15 min. or till heated through, stirring occasionally.
    season to taste.
  3. Serve over hot mashed potatoes, noodles, or ripped up pieces of bread.
