Hamburger Gravy

We like to change it up and serve over either boiled potatoes with parsley or wide egg noodles. I still serve with mashed potatoes as well.
Another great quick meal that always satisfies.
Ingredients

1 1/2 lblean ground beef

1 mediumonion, diced
-
1/2 lbfresh mushrooms, sliced

·kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1 Tbspparsley flakes
-
1 tspgranulated garlic
-
2 Tbspbeef base
-
4-5 Tbspall purpose flour or cornstarch for thickening

2 ccold water
-
1 tspkitchen bouquet or gravy master for coloring
How to Make Hamburger Gravy
- Saute` ground meat, onion and mushrooms in a large skillet until meat is no longer pink and the onion is soft. Drain off most of the fat.
- Season meat with salt, pepper, parsley and garlic. Stir in beef base. Mix flour with cold water, shake well and blend into meat mixture. Bring to a boil so it will thicken. Add kitchen bouquet until color is what you desire.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, boiled potatoes or egg noodles.
