Growing up we always had hamburger, and mamma always had to find ways to make it stretch. This is so good and it goes far. One of the best budget meals ever.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds hamburger
- 1/4 cup onion
- 2 cans diced green chili
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 2 cans 16 oz of diced tomatoes
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
How To Make hamburger chilito

Step 1Dice onion slightly chunky. Open all cans.

Step 2In a medium size soup pot, sautee onions just until soft use just 1/2 tbls of oil. Then add hamburger, salt and pepper. Cook until browned.

Step 3Rinse hamburger in a strainer with hot water. Put meat back into pan, then add the rest of the ingredients. You may have to add more salt to your own taste. Simmer for about 20 minutes.
