Sometimes I use mushroom soup instead ot cheddar cheese soup and put shredded cheddar cheese on top, the last 15-20 mins. of baking.

1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 med. onion, diced
1 lb. frozen tator tots
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 milk

How to Make Hamburger Casserole


  • 1Brown hamburger and onion in sillet.
    Layer this mixture, tater tots, hamburger, tater tots, hamburger, etc., in a lightly sprayed casserole dish.
    ( I like to end up with the meat mixture.)
  • 2Beat soup and milk together. Pour over the meat mixture and tator tots.
  • 3Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
