  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup uncooked instant rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon each salt & pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup (10 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage

How To Make hamburger-cabbage casserole

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 400^. Cook beef & onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into ungreased 2-qt. casserole. Cover and bake 45 minutes or until hot & bubbly.
