hamburg pie
This is a comfort food dish for my family passed down from many generations. We add side dishes of cooked carrots and peas to compliment the meal. Delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds hamburger
- 18 slices bread
- 1 - onion, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1 - egg, beaten
- - water
- - salt and pepper
- - poultry seasoning
- - celery seed
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- - cornflakes
How To Make hamburg pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Press raw hamburger into ungreased 9x13 baking dish.

Step 3Make Stuffing. First, in a small saucepan, melt margarine and saute onion and celery. Meanwhile, rip bread slices into small pieces in a large bowl. Add your sauted onion and celery, beaten egg with just a little water, and seasonings as desired to your taste. Mix together well and put on top of hamburger in your dish.

Step 4Spread can of cream of chicken soup on top of stuffing.

Step 5Crush corn flakes in your hands and crumble on top. Use as many as you like.

Step 6Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until hamburg is brown. Enjoy!
