juice of 2 limes

tomato sauce, 8 ounces

green olives, sliced

How to Make Ground Chuck Picadillo


  • 1In a non-stick skillet, over high heat, cook the ground chuck, breaking into pieces.
  • 2Remove meat with slotted spoon.
  • 3Pour off all but one tablespoon of grease.
  • 4Reduce the heat to medium, cook onions and garlic until soft.
  • 5Add lime juice, tomato sauce, olives, raisins, cumin and cinnamon.
  • 6Simmer 20 minutes.
  • 7Season to taste.
