Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground chuck
- 1.5 cups onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- juice of 2 limes
- 1 can tomato sauce, 8 ounces
- 1/2 cup green olives, sliced
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make ground chuck picadillo

Step 1In a non-stick skillet, over high heat, cook the ground chuck, breaking into pieces.

Step 2Remove meat with slotted spoon.

Step 3Pour off all but one tablespoon of grease.

Step 4Reduce the heat to medium, cook onions and garlic until soft.

Step 5Add lime juice, tomato sauce, olives, raisins, cumin and cinnamon.

Step 6Simmer 20 minutes.

Step 7Season to taste.
