Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup toasted bread crumbs
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 - salt and pepper to taste
- TOPPING INGREDIENTS
- 6 - servings of instant potato mix
- 4 ounces sour cream
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 2 slices bacon, cooked crisp
How To Make ground beef pie with creamed potato topping

Step 1Mix all ingredients well.

Step 2Place in a ungreased 10-inch pie plate.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Step 4Pour off excess fat from meat.

Step 5Potato Topping: Follow package directions for potatoes, substituting sour cream for milk.

Step 6Carefully spread over top of meat pie.

Step 7Sprinkle cheese on top.

Step 8Criss cross bacon on top.

Step 9Broil for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Step 10Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving.
