- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 - garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns, cracked
How To Make grilled marinated sirloin steak

Step 1Place the steak in a shallow glass dish or pie pan.

Step 2Combine the marinade ingredients; spread evenly over both sides of the steak.

Step 3Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes, or cover and refrigerate up to 8 hours.

Step 4Prepare a charcoal grill or preheat the broiler.

Step 5Grill or broil the steak 4 to 5 inches from the heat source 4 minutes per side for medium rare, or to desired doneness.

Step 6Discard the marinade.

Step 7Slice the steak into thin strips; serve immediately.
